Maybe you realize that you and a close friend have gone in different directions and it’s time to let them go. Or after you are finally comfortable with living alone, you fall in love — and decide to bring two households together into one and make a new start.
In my case, I knew I couldn’t move forward towards my desired dreams unless I challenged, faced and significantly changed some deep seated beliefs that were hindering me in my life.
I felt impassioned by my decision but unclear about the steps I needed to take. I was acutely aware of the rush of heat as the tension inside me began to build. My muscles were tight and my breathing became labored. I felt on edge, like I was going to explode. The more I contemplated these shifts, the more this compelling force increased.
In a burst of creativity, I released this dynamic power onto the canvas in layers of vivid, bold, fiery reds and fierce white swirling strokes – all on a backdrop of pooling dark colors, accented with a variety of cobalt blues.
Revolution represents the potent raw energy needed, prior to major breakthroughs, that gives us the power and momentum to make the desired changes in our lives.
