“Live Out Loud” reminds me of the times in my life when I decided to express myself in more individual and unique ways.
Being naturally shy, I found this experience exciting and unnerving at the same time.
I created this painting to celebrate the dynamic and daring in all of us. How we feel inside, and how we choose to dress, speaks volumes about who we are, often without uttering a word.
And, I believe we have, in all of us, the courage to express our individuality and stand out from the crowd.
When looking at this piece, what do you notice first – the brightness of the colors, the intense bold shapes, or perhaps the strong stance of the figure?
